Google’s next step in innovation: Chrome books


Google, in its innovation path has now released the chrome operating system. It is a 100% web based OS which is entering the market through laptops in June of 2011. Samsung and Acer machines are the first to release this web based OS. Competing with the biggest OS Company; Microsoft, Google is ready to make an effective marketing strategy as it is releasing the machines in low price. Chrome OS can be called as innovation in software field as it is essentially a web based operating system and is useful for business and other purposes. This makes the computers work faster, simpler and is very secure about the user information. Chrome based laptops will be in market soon with the effective pricing strategy as the price range is in $349 and $499 which can be available to many customers who use internet in their daily life. Google is not only making innovation in its technology but is also making innovation in pricing strategy to hit the market. It is first releasing its products in US, UK and other countries.     Acer being one of the top players in the PC market has accepted to release this web-based OS in the market which seems to be quite risky.Along with Google, the success or failure of Google ChromeBooks would have a huge impact on Acer as well.
